Light

I have been in darkness All was dim Thinking it all had ended But then there was dawn Lights seem to flicker in my heart Something is bringing me alive Out came the morning All my life been waiting My heart overwhelmed Kept on pounding You have brought me the light That never gleamed that way before My heart resurrected So much happiness Filling up the emptiness The light is shining across my heart Not a silhouette left My feelings bloomed and blossomed As there is light Wish it all would never set And take the light away This light that shone my way My only brilliant light I would do anything to make it bright.
