Eros*

He came to unlock a door

Bared to none before.

This Belle cannot stop

But lead him more.

For ‘tis a taste of heaven’s wine,

Nectar and ambrosia on his lips combine.

In her garden’s bosom long kept,

Welcomed an ardent visitor without regret.

They touched to see sunset’s fiery blaze.

Locked in rhythm two souls in a daze.

Tides clash beyond as the shore cradles the sea.

Deep within sweet ache gently flee.

Sighs drifted in the still night’s air,

A moment’s bliss on Eden’s passionate lair.

In his immortal arms

A flower bloomed.

Under the silver moonlights’

Romantic interlude.

*EROS is the Roman counterpart of Cupid, Greek God of Love.
