I love sugar and spice, and am definitely nice (unless you’re dumb and an asshole). I have always been a realist. I don’t sugarcoat and kiss ass so I can be likeable (sorry, Dale Carnegie, but I like your book anyways).
It’s like, damn if you do, damn if you don’t. People would still have an unfair impression and throw you shade.
Truth is, we are a work in progress every day. You can be a better version of yourself where validation and judgment from others won’t ruffle your feathers anymore. You only have the power to control your life, not them. You are your own niche, you only need to recognize it within yourself. Just do you. Know what makes you happy, go from there and thrive.
